Ayu’s A’maze’d Thoughts:
It’s a race through the maze to get to the top of the Beanstalk Tower and the price is bocchan’s soul. Who won? Claude or Sebastian? The answer is Hannah. She now have Cielois’ souls along with Luca’s. Eh??? Wut? Yep exactly! It was what I anticipated would happen if the writers decide to turn Hannah into a player with a mysterious intent this late into the game. She was the demon whom Luca formed a contract with and whom we are told, felt a pity for the cutie-pie  so she decided that she wants the big brother’s soul as well. That way she can unite both souls in her tummy and since Alois soul is trapped in bocchan’s puny body fighting with bocchan, she might as well devour bocchan’s soul too.  How nice is it to have her own little shouta harem of souls to satisfy her demon pangs. Honestly,  there isn’t much of a mystique in her story that would make her any more interesting other than her being a weapon storage and a masochist. One would reckon that’s her way of getting some rousing excitement aside from getting pampered by the triplets. She did say she rues the boredom of a demon life much like the other two. Luca on the other hand, had much more of development with the few flashback scenes he has appeared in. See the difference in that? I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that Hannah’s dominatrix demon outfit reminds me of ‘Ashela’.  Uh please… let’s not repeat what has already been done in Season 1.

Oh Ciel, just when he realized the truth and regained his memories…he’s going to lose it all again if he loses his will to Alois whose soul is fighting for dominance inside bocchan’s wee body. What a sorry mess he’s got himself into. Sebastian is partly to blame for not being as sharp as he is in the manga. Like I said before, I thought he was a tad OOC in the anime. Manga Sebby would leave no stones unturned and is merciless. Anime Sebby appeared mild in comparison. Even Claude seemed to have more cunning although he was clearly off his rockers once he tasted bocchan’s delicious blood. He’s a perverted louse to the end. Alois should give it up already…he probably did when he finally contracted Hannah but to what end? I like to think he’s being trolled for his gullibility. Claude is still his one true love. You cannot ignore the ‘BL’ vibes that’s all over the place in Season II.

So then, what of the multiple contracts? Ciel is still contracted to Sebby. How could he have entered into a pact along with Alois if his contract is still valid?! Claude may have had his contract revoked when he rejected Alois but not Ciel. Something’s not quite right with that part when Hannah declared bocchan’s soul is now hers as well. I don’t get what happen to the souls when they are consumed by the demons either.  Do you get multiple souls inside a demon having a big convo with one another, fighting for space to be the personality of the day? *LMAO* That’s bordering on the ridiculousness and hilarity of it all. Oh well, I’m going to just sit back, wait and watch the ending unfold.
