Vampire Knight Artbook is out!
tBP’s Manga Digest takes a sneak peak at Hino Matsuri’s very first Artbook for Vampire Knight. Her Artbook titled Hino Matsuri Illustrations ‘Vampire Knight’ was released on Jul-5. It’s available for purchase at major online Japanese stores such as Amazon.co.jp, cdjapan, yesasia and HMV Japan. The Artbook showcased a mixture of early and recent illustrations for VK. You can definitely see the notable differences between her earlier work and the more recent ones. Her recent artwork is more refined and captured the subtle growth of her characters as well as improvements in her drawings. That’s a good thing because of the time line progression in the manga. Whether you love the trio or ship either pairings, you’ll love the selections that Hino-sensei has laid out in her very first Artbook release. They are certainly a visual fest for VK fans and fans of shoujo manga. Fangirlable to the max. (^_-)
I’ve randomly chosen some illustrations to share on this post. Hopefully, VK fans will be enticed enough to get a copy of the Artbook for themselves as a collectible item or just to drool over the gorgeous VK artwork.
