HELLO EVERYONE! Ok, that sounds like a corny opening greeting doesn’t it? I reckon that I’m losing my touch due to being absent from tBPII intermittently. The reason for this post? (Like, do I ever need one?) There is a new manga magazine publication in town and it is Media Factory‘s latest effort in bringing more new manga titles to mangadom. The first issue of Comic Gene was launched and released back in June 15. It is a monthly publication which is currently on my trial subscription. That means you’ll be seeing snippets from Comic Gene on top of the other manga mags, starting with the September issue.

April Cover Spot Goes To KARNEVAL

This took a teeny while to put up but it’s done. There’s a little bit of most of the regular favourites (reads mine *lol*) from Z-Sum. However, I skipped Loveless, Tetsuichi, Haikyo Circle, Shitsuji ni Kokkyou Nante, Landreaall, Corseltel no Ryuujitsushi – Koryuu Monogatari, Ogamiya Yokochou Tenmatsuki, ♯000000-ultra black, Hatenkou Yuugi and Gakuyaura – Binbouhimanashi-hen. Aside from that, Sakura Maro’s Planetary* and Ueda Shinsyu’s Sai no Kami both ended with their final chapters. I thought Planetary* was rather boring so I’m glad it ended here and now. Sai no Kami didn’t leave me with much of an impact either but at least, the storyline is somewhat more excitable than Planetary*. Lastly, before anyone ask, there is no ‘Tenkyuugi – Sephirahnatus’ in this issue. But don’t fret Tenkyuugi followers, the manga will be back with a new chapter in Z-Sum’s May edition.
Now then Z-Sum’s groupies, on with the so-called *teasers*…duh, not so much of a teaser if you’ve already seen speed scanlations elsewhere in cyberspace but what the heck, these are meant for those who are deprived or less surf savvy.

Want more, step behind the cut
I actually meant to put this up earlier but with the terrible consequences transpiring from the aftermath of the natural twin disasters that hit Japan on Friday 11-Mar, I’ve been anxiously following updates of the situation over there since then. I’m relieve to know that those I’m acquainted with are accounted for, albeit more than a tad *shaken* up. But yes, let us do what we can in our own little way to help get those affected get back up on their feet again.
I like to share this drawing by Yana Toboso which she posted on twitter. Simple and hopeful message but it works.

And now, back to ASUKA Issue #04.

Snips, Snips and More Snips from Zero-Sum March Edition!!!
March Cover Spotlight Goes To “Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist“

What’s in store, what’s in store?! Tons of snips. I got a little carried away during a recent short break and tried to squeeze in a snip of nearly every manga title…nearly but not all, mostly those that gotten hold of my short attention span as I quickly ran the mag thru the scanner. I also just realized I’d forgotten to make a customary ‘Lunar New Year’ post. It isn’t too late to pop a little greeting in here as the lunar festival will not end until Feb-17th which will be the 15th day of the Chinese Lunar Calendar.
So, I would like to take this opportunity to wish every one who drops by tBPII a “Happy Lunar New Year of the Rabbit“. Xin Nian Kuai Le. 新年快乐! 幸せな正月! 행복 음력 설날!
Enjoy this humongous picspam!
BY REQUEST!!!
Snips from Naked Ape’s Dolls Chapter 70

Waaaa!!! This is absolutely belated but hey, someone should be really happy to see these snippets being posted. You know who you are.
So here are the pics of Shouta you’d requested way back when and yes, they are from Chapter 70 in the Dec Issue of Z-Sum. Because it is so delayed, you’ve might have seen them (^_^;; but in any case, maybe some others haven’t been spoiled yet. Enjoy anyway!

tBP’s Manga-mag Updates!
w00t! Here I go with another batch of covers and colour pages from the November issues of Jump SQ and Zero-Sum. I would have love to include more chapter previews and spoilers but nay, I’m just too busy with R/L stuff lately. I’ll consider posting the latest chapters of Karneval and 07-Ghost by request and if no one has shared them yet. Fans of CLAMP will be interested to know that Jump SQ will publish their new manga ‘GATE 7′ which will premiere in the December issue. I suppose it’ll be a one-off manga. Anyway, expect preview spoilers on tBP when I get my copy of JSQ Issue 12. Let the pic-spam begin.
Tegami Bachi hogs the JSQ cover which also coincides with the airing of the ‘Reverse’ anime and Volume 11 tank release.
