Another Comic Zero-sum manga is getting an anime adaptation and this time it’s KARNEVAL by Touya Mikanagi.

This little bit of news byte came on top of KARNEVAL‘s Volume 9 and the 6th Drama CD releases, which are out on sale today. Well nice timing I’d say. Anyway,the manga seems a long way from being over as we’ve not even gotten into the depths of the Varuga conspiracy and Nai‘s mysterious existence (although we’re getting some exposition on Nai and Karoku in the current arc). HELLO EVERYONE! Ok, that sounds like a corny opening greeting doesn’t it? I reckon that I’m losing my touch due to being absent from tBPII intermittently. The reason for this post? (Like, do I ever need one?) There is a new manga magazine publication in town and it is Media Factory‘s latest effort in bringing more new manga titles to mangadom. The first issue of Comic Gene was launched and released back in June 15. It is a monthly publication which is currently on my trial subscription. That means you’ll be seeing snippets from Comic Gene on top of the other manga mags, starting with the September issue.

MAG UPDATES: ZERO-SUM ISSUE 12

My copy of Z-SUM Issue 12 arrived yesterday (Monday). Love the cover featuring the lovely trio from Karneval. Fans of 07-Ghost will be squeeing with delight that the new chapter include a colour page plus a double-page colour spread. It’s been a while since 07-Ghost steals the main focus.

::Synopsis::

Sakurai Yuki is a mysterious boy with a mysterious power. Right after he was born, his mother left him near an orphanage where he was later found. Because of that event, Yuki strives for independence. He hates being a burden to anyone near him, but at the same time, he is afraid of being left alone. Moreover, ever since he can remember, he had a strange ability where when he touches others, he can feel their emotion. Unable to control it, he often made insensitive blunders. He later meets with a mysterious yet beautiful young man who saves his life, but somehow feels so nostalgic, like he’s met him before. With death threats and his ability increasing, a man who claimed to be his older brother suddenly appears. What will Yuki do when he learns the truth?

tBP’s Manga-mag Updates!

w00t! Here I go with another batch of covers and colour pages from the November issues of Jump SQ and Zero-Sum. I would have love to include more chapter previews and spoilers but nay, I’m just too busy with R/L stuff lately. I’ll consider posting the latest chapters of Karneval and 07-Ghost by request and if no one has shared them yet. Fans of CLAMP will be interested to know that Jump SQ will publish their new manga ‘GATE 7′ which will premiere in the December issue. I suppose it’ll be a one-off manga. Anyway, expect preview spoilers on tBP when I get my copy of JSQ Issue 12. Let the pic-spam begin.

But anyway, Ayu’s back with Z-Sum Issue # 10 with colour pages and chapter snippets/spoilers plus a bonus for genuine Karneval fans…only because I chose to be nice. Yeah, things like this always depend on my mood. I don’t answer to any one but myself. *inserts evil laugh here* (^w^). On another note, I really need to blitz through KSII Ep 10.

Gfantasy Issue 08 – Kuroshitsuji Chapter 47

Kuroshitsuji Chapter 47 : That Butler Contemplating…

Kuroshitsuji received major pimpage once again on the August issue of Gfantasy. The freebies that came with it is a huge poster of KSII Claude Faustus (part of a series promoting KSII) and a pencil board with a different original illustration from Yana Toboso on each side. I’m not posting the huge poster though as I’m too lazy to put it together. You can probably find that on a certain KS focus forum and may have even seen the Kuroshitsuji centric images already but anyway, the ones I posted here are from my own copy of GF. It’s been a while since I chatted about the manga chapters but the recent arc appears to be coming to an end. My thoughts on Chapter 47 after the images.

Monthly Comic Zero-Sum celebrates their 100th issue anniversary with their August publication of the mangazine. This means there is sure to be some extra special goodies bundled with the August issue. One of them is a special booklet that includes character data from all the series that are currently published in ZeroSum and the other is a sealed up, top secret, smexy pinup booklet.
