Double Dose of Snippets: Uraboku Story 50 and 51

Double Uraboku Surprise!!

This is a long overdue post but we think it is a blessing in disguise because there isn’t any new chapter in Asuka’s latest Oct issue.  What better way to space out the timing of posting the last 2 chapter snippets during the month long break until the next one (Story 52) which will come out later this month (Nov issue).  So, here goes!

ASUKA Issue 05/12 and Uraboku Story 48 Snippets

Q: Who do we have on May’s cover of Asuka?
A: Shurei and her harem from Saiunkoku Monogatari
Photobucket
It’s May already and isn’t it appropriate to share snippets from the May Issue of ASUKA. It’s later than expected and I do have the current June Issue in hand as well although I won’t post teasers from that copy yet. With that said, there’s no new Uraboku chapter in the June issue. That means the Uraboku fandom will have to wait longer for the next chapter. It is one of the reason why I forgo a quick Uraboku spoiler post earlier on.  I’m not even sure if there’s a new chapter in the coming July issue. Anyway, those of you looking forward to Story 48 shall be pleased because I’m posting the chapter teasers right here.

SNIPPETS: URABOKU STORY 47

TIME FOR URABOKU CHAPTER SNIPPETS/SPOILERS

SNIPPETS: URABOKU STORY 47

With Story 47, we are one chapter away from ASUKA’s May edition that will bring us up to the most current chapter of Uraboku. I ‘m sure some of you lucky Uraboku fans managed to get hold of the surprise cookie that I placed in the previous spoiler post for a short and limited time only. So it can’t be helped if people expect more of the same. Unfortunately, that is very much a one-off thing. But fret not, because you’ll get to view more than expected. I’m still serving cookies but of a different kind. :)

Pandora Hearts Vol.17 Regular Edition – Cover plus Inserts

Photobucket

Pandora Hearts Vol.17 was released on Mar-27 and it came in two different editions i.e. the normal and the special limited edition. The difference between the two is the cover art illustrations plus the limited edition also came with key rings. It seems that many in the fandom ordered the special edition because of the extras and it was out of stock on some online bookstores. I, on the other hand chose to buy the normal edition and thus, I scan the cover plus inserts like I always do when I received a new volume and post them here. I like the Jacket cover art which features Lacie in front and Revis on the back portion. Other than that, everything else appears the same as the special edition volume. As far as I’m aware of, there are more scans of the limited edition being shared in the fandom but little to no scans of the normal version. So, here they More PH goodies after the jump

SNIPPETS: URABOKU STORY 46

**Blink and you’ll miss it**

I made a snippets gif of the chapter. This will probably be the method to adopt for all other manga spoilers I’m sharing in the future. Anyway, this chapter flashes back for us to catch up with Toko and Shusei who were both sent on a private mission to investigate strange happenings. During their trip, they ran into a powerful opast who had attack a civilian. We know from Story 45 that they got separated and Shusei appeared to be badly hurt. To find out what happened to get them so badly beaten, stay tune for Story 47 which should be up very soon. Curious for more, then go behind the cut for a special Uraboku surprise!

Ayu Says:
Hello again. Yay, I’m on a roll here with back to back mag snippets. This time, it’s a quicky update on the Oct issue of AVARUS. I will be dropping AVARUS off my sub-list after the Dec issue. Comic Gene is my chosen replacement as I like what it has been offering with even more new manga titles coming up. That said, 3 manga series will be ending their run in the November issue of AVARUS and that’s TOXIC, CODA and Hishosama Kounin!. Of the remaining titles that I still have interest in are Shiina-kun no Torikemo Hyakka, Donten ni Warau and Ilegenes ~Giyoku no Koukyoukyoku. However, I’ll be getting the tank volumes to follow-on rather than continuing with the magazine subscription. Moving on…

Blurbs on GFantasy Issue 10/11

Manga Digest continues with blurbs on GFantasy Issue 10/11!

Ayu says:
“GFantasy Oct issue is truly a bumper one. It’s soooo thick and you know what, it’s packed with one of the biggest twist of a tale that I’ve read this month. Seriously, Oct is a month full of twists and turns from several of my regular favourites. But OMG, GFan tops the list with two fantabulously awesome chapters, one of them is just so mind blowingly good. I could go on and on but yeah…nobody wants mindless babblings now, do they?!” :P

Who’s on the cover you ask? A bunch of boys from a slow-mo manga called ‘Kimi to Boku‘ trying to appear bad-ass…LOL. That’s because the boys are going to have their own animated show on TV next month. Cue the ‘cool’ shot for the cover. XD That’s right peeps, Hotta Kichi’s ‘Kimi to Boku’ will air this coming OCT.

Honestly, the cover illustration induces lots of chuckles from moi. ^o^
