Spinning: Galileo Galilei’s Imaginary Friends

I admit it. I luuuve this song. “Imaginary Friends” is the opening track to Galileo Galilei‘s 2nd album titled “PORTAL“. It’s such a fittingly catchy track that’ll hook you right in to the album. I love the seemingly playful, intertwining vocals of Ozaki Yuuki and the female background vocalist. Besides that, it is a pleasantly melodious track that incorporates heavier synths, complementing the gentler guitar sound, less anthemic but exudes a more fantasy-world kind of vibe. Definitely one of my favourite songs from Galileo Galileo after Asu e (Ashita e), SGP and Sayonara Frontier. Scroll down for a listen and sing along with the lyrics.

Here’s a another recent released single that I like…well, I particularly like the titular track anyway. It’s Spontania‘s latest cd.  This time they collaborated with and featured AZU as their guest vocalist on the their single’s a-side titled “Onaji Sora Mitsumeteru Anata ni” (同じ空みつめてるあなたに ). Yup, it’s kind of a long title isn’t it but the song is on my playlist as I post this plus it’s one of their better song since ‘Ima Demo Zutto’ which featured Yuna Ito. ( ^_^)
