Quick Stops: Pandora Hearts 74, Kuroshitsuji 70 and ZeroSum 07-12

Been a while since I chatted about Pandora Hearts and Kuroshitsuji manga. I managed to catch up on the recent chapters too. Aside from that, I thought I should include some freebies from the ZeroSum July issue as I haven’t posted anything from the manga mag lately. On that note, I maybe getting my copy of ZSUM’s August edition a little later than usual this month cos I’m late renewing my subscription. Same goes for ASUKA. That means I’ll probably won’t play the 07-G brain teaser and just post my thoughts on the new chapter when I get my copy of the mag. Well, life is busy these days as you can tell. :P

So then, let’s get back to the topics at hand.

WASSUP:
Consider this a pre-come back post of sorts. Nothing like getting back into the groove of things by sharing some mag freebies from my mag backlogs and it’s a huge one too although I’ve to cut down on the image dumps. I’ll be cross-posting some of the stuff here to tumblr.

Multi Mag Blurbs: Asuka 11, Avarus 11 and GFantasy 11

Blurbs, blurbs and more blurbs – Oh So Not Random!

Time for another Mangazine Digest post. In fact, this is a multi-post mag updates featuring the November issues of Asuka, Avarus and GFantasy. It’s more than a little late which is why I scrap the individual mag feature and decide on a one shot, multi-mag updates for this round. Nonetheless, I hope you regulars would still find the bumper snippet spam enjoyable and *spoiler-y*. :P   Newer updates are in cue with the December issues coming my way and I know most of the peeps from a particular fandom are anxiously waiting for ‘THAT’ chapter teasers.  It will be fun to see how many of you in the fandom make it past my next *trap*.  I am pleasantly surprised that a number of newcomers to my blog from the said fandom made it through the 1st one and left their comments in the actual teaser post. Regulars are a little spoiled from before but really, you peeps should amp-up for the next one.  Don’t give up so easily.  Ah…to those who don’t know what the dinkums am I babbling about, fret not…the longer you patronized tBPII, the better educated you are on what’s going on. XD

Alrightey! On to the onslaught of image heavy mag snippets.

Blurbs on GFantasy Issue 10/11

Manga Digest continues with blurbs on GFantasy Issue 10/11!

Ayu says:
“GFantasy Oct issue is truly a bumper one. It’s soooo thick and you know what, it’s packed with one of the biggest twist of a tale that I’ve read this month. Seriously, Oct is a month full of twists and turns from several of my regular favourites. But OMG, GFan tops the list with two fantabulously awesome chapters, one of them is just so mind blowingly good. I could go on and on but yeah…nobody wants mindless babblings now, do they?!” :P

Who’s on the cover you ask? A bunch of boys from a slow-mo manga called ‘Kimi to Boku‘ trying to appear bad-ass…LOL. That’s because the boys are going to have their own animated show on TV next month. Cue the ‘cool’ shot for the cover. XD That’s right peeps, Hotta Kichi’s ‘Kimi to Boku’ will air this coming OCT.

Honestly, the cover illustration induces lots of chuckles from moi. ^o^

Babblings: GFantasy Issue 08, Kuroshitsuji 59, Pandora Hearts 63 + Comic Gene Special

Hullo Everyone! I’m listening to Hiroyuki Sawano‘s fab composition Devil’s Symphonic Suite 2nd Movement i-AM from ‘Ao no Exorcist Original Soundtrack 1‘ while putting up this post. Might I say it again, I’m in love Sawano for coming up with such an epic blast of a soundtrack. :P   Yeah, I just had to say it

Anyway, I’ve been hibernating away from this blog and the usual mag updates for prolonged periods of time these days. It’s a case of the input being more than the output. I’m mostly enjoying the mags subscriptions when I can scrounge some free time to read them but no longer have I the time to scan and post updates like I use to.  So, I’ll have to make do with babblings on the chapters I find interesting and not post a wall of multiple chapter snippets.  But of course, when I can squeeze in time, I’ll go back to the usual mag updates format.

Nonetheless, I’m back to share some eye-candy from Gfantasy Issue 08 and babblings on Kuroshitsuji Chapter 59 and Pandora Hearts Chapter 63. For the lovely peeps who’ve been following tBP’s mag updates on a regular basis, I’m especially sharing scans of the freebie illustrative booklet from COMIC GENE’s inaugural issue. Alas, I wish I could share more snippets from Comic Gene. I might just post some snips from the 2nd issue a little later in the week. In the mean time…

GRELL, the chain-saw wielding shinigami from Kuroshitsuji reddened the cover of GFantasy’s August edition.

[Mags] Avarus Issue 11 and GFantasy Issue 11

Manga-zine Updates – Avarus and GFantasy Nov Issues

untitled collage

This is soooo belated due to some really stupendous issues that tBP has been experiencing of late. We’ve ironed out the gripes, kinks, what have you and move on. Not that it matters much to anyone at present since I think most of tBP’s regular visitors won’t discover the new site url until much later if they are studious enough to search for it. Phew!!! That’s one wordy sentence.

For this post, I’m sharing colour pages, covers and snippets from the November Issues of Avarus and GFantasy. Continue reading

[Mags] Snippets from Zero-Sum and Jump SQ Issues 11

tBP’s Manga-mag Updates!

w00t! Here I go with another batch of covers and colour pages from the November issues of Jump SQ and Zero-Sum. I would have love to include more chapter previews and spoilers but nay, I’m just too busy with R/L stuff lately. I’ll consider posting the latest chapters of Karneval and 07-Ghost by request and if no one has shared them yet. Fans of CLAMP will be interested to know that Jump SQ will publish their new manga ‘GATE 7′ which will premiere in the December issue. I suppose it’ll be a one-off manga. Anyway, expect preview spoilers on tBP when I get my copy of JSQ Issue 12. Let the pic-spam begin. :P

[Mags] Snippets from Oct Issues of GFantasy and Sylph

Snippets from GFantasy Issue 10 plus bonus from Sylph Issue 10

GFS10 (1)

Yay! Ayu is back with a long overdue update.  Well, I didn’t want to miss out sharing snips from the Oct issue of GFantasy and for the first time, some juicy *spoils* from Sylph manga mag. I reckon both Kuroshitsuji and Pandora Hearts fandom have probably seen the scanlated of Chapters 49 and 53 respectively. So this post gives me an opportunity to post my favourite panels from both series. Besides, there are other titles that people might not have the chance of viewing and ‘Gfan’ is known to publish short one-off titles from upcoming Mangakas. I thought it’ll be fun to preview some panels from the one shots and the other titles that tickle my fancy. And heck ya, I got the freebie Kuroshitsuji mechanical pencil to go with the pen from last issue. This will also be the first time I post any snippets from ‘Sylph’ manga mag. I came across and pick up Issue 10 out of sheer curiosity for ‘Dear Girl ~stories~’ which is inspired by Kamiya Hiroshi and Ono Daisuke, two of my favourite seiyus. Fans of Sylph will *squee* at the bonus poster collection that came with the Oct issue. Anyway, it’s not going to be a regular feature on my current manga mag subscription list, though. Last but not least, guess I should warn you peeps that this is an image heavy post.  Enjoy and be absolutely swamp by the image spam… :P
