Pandora Hearts Vol.20 SE and Karneval Vol.11 – Covers plus Inserts

I am seemingly taking my time with things these days in terms of blogging. This is evident in the fact that I’ve yet to post my usual monthly 07-Ghost chapter spoilers. But nonetheless, tBP will stutter on with as much energy that can be accorded to it in my spares.

Once again, we have a couple of volume releases to share and it is the most recent volumes of Pandora Hearts and Karneval.  Pandora Hearts Vol.20 came out on May-27 whereas Karneval’s Vol.11 was released a month earlier, on April-25.

As one can tell from the pic above, I got myself a copy of Pandora Heart’s Special Edition which featured Gil on the cover plus it came with a teeny weeny Gil figurine. The regular volume has got Oscar-sama on the cover. The copy I bought of Karneval is the regular edition that featured a slightly brighter illustration of Yogi than the SE version (which can be seen here).

Pandora Hearts Vol.19 – Cover plus Inserts

A little late with my post again but I’m back with some images of Pandora Hearts Vol.19 that featured Alyss on the cover. Yes this is the normal/regular edition. I believe the special edition is with Oz on the cover which someone had posted and shared on LJ earlier on. The SE version also came with a figurine of Oz. Anyway, volume 19 was released on Nov-27 and contained 4 chapters i.e. Retrace 75-78. Plenty of revelations and developments in those chapters if I may say so. Like the manga, then do support the mangaka and publisher by buying the official tankoubon releases.

A Peek at Pandora Hearts Comic Calendar 2013

Is it the new year already?
Simple, Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire

Being a fan of Pandora Hearts and of Mochizuki Jun‘s artwork, I’m always looking forward to the manga publication’s annual calendar releases. Pandora Hearts Calendar for 2013 is now out on sale and I’ve gotten my copy just a day after it was released on Nov-11. I’m happy with Mochi-Jun’s choice of illustrations for the new calendar. It’s worth getting a copy as there are 5 new illustrations along with the ones that were done for the manga chapters and covers published in GFantasy of this year. Once again, I have my picks of favourites from the 12 months of lovely PH art. So, which ones are your favourites? Care to share your picks here? Then, do drop your comments on it after taking a peek of the new PH calendar, courtesy of Ayu.

UraBoku Vol.10 & 11: Covers plus inserts with extended extras of Story 52

VOLUME RELEASES: 裏切りは僕の名前を知っている 第10巻 & 第11巻

Photobucket

UraBoku‘s latest tankoubon Vol.11 was released on Oct-25 and I had gotten my copy very recently. Volume 11 covers 4 chapters i.e Story 49 to 52.  However, the tank version of Story 52 is an extended version with additional panels that were not published in the magazine version which I had previously shared in this post. The expanded chapter is 10 pages long. I wonder if Odagiri-sensei will have the extra panels added to Story 53 in ASUKA. Otherwise, it won’t make sense as there’s quite a missing chunk that highlighted the deteriorating condition of Takashiro and the continued conversations between Yuki, Hotsu, Toko and Tsukumo.  So, unless you buy a copy of Vol. 11, you won’t be able to see the extended chapter. But the UraBoku fandom is so lucky because Ayu is sharing those extra pages here, nyah!

+C: Sword and Cornett Vol.7 – Cover plus Inserts

This is strictly for (existing and new) fans of Yugyoji Tama’s +C: Sword and Cornett which is receiving very little love from the manga fandom, it seems. It is probably due to the lack of attention in terms of translations more than anything else. I’m not sure what happen to this group who is suppose to be working on spreading the love through their English translations. Apparently, everything’s on hold there for the time being. So, I’m wondering if anyone else is going to quietly pick it back up so we can continue spreading the love of this manga far and wide as it appears the small fandom community is almost deader than dead. :P

In any case, I think it is fair for me to continue plugging Cornett’s volume releases here on tBPII along side TZA where my team mates are mainly doing the omake translations of the manga.  So without further ado, let’s move on to Volume 7 which is Cornett’s latest release to date.

News on KARNEVAL Anime, Volume 9 and Drama CD…

ANI-MANGA NEWS!

Another Comic Zero-sum manga is getting an anime adaptation and this time it’s KARNEVAL by Touya Mikanagi.

This little bit of news byte came on top of KARNEVAL‘s Volume 9 and the 6th Drama CD releases, which are out on sale today. Well nice timing I’d say. Anyway, the manga seems a long way from being over as we’ve not even gotten into the depths of the Varuga conspiracy and Nai‘s mysterious existence (although we’re getting some exposition on Nai and Karoku in the current arc). Depending on More after the J U M P

Pandora Hearts Vol.17 Regular Edition – Cover plus Inserts

Photobucket

Pandora Hearts Vol.17 was released on Mar-27 and it came in two different editions i.e. the normal and the special limited edition. The difference between the two is the cover art illustrations plus the limited edition also came with key rings. It seems that many in the fandom ordered the special edition because of the extras and it was out of stock on some online bookstores. I, on the other hand chose to buy the normal edition and thus, I scan the cover plus inserts like I always do when I received a new volume and post them here. I like the Jacket cover art which features Lacie in front and Revis on the back portion. Other than that, everything else appears the same as the special edition volume. As far as I’m aware of, there are more scans of the limited edition being shared in the fandom but little to no scans of the normal version. So, here they More PH goodies after the jump

Pandora Hearts Vol.16 Regular Edition – Cover plus Inserts

A Peek at Pandora Hearts [Comic] Calendar 2012

A Special Post!

PH2012 - V2 (1)
You know it’s that time of the year again when 2012 calendars start sprouting up all over the web and online stores. Well, Ayu is very happy to share a peek of the newly released Pandora Hearts Comic Calendar for 2012 with fans of PH and the rest of the manga fandom. I received my copy of the calendar this week and love it. You’ll be pleased to know that Mochizuki-sensei added several new illustrations. Among those we’ve seen before are illustrations that appeared in the publications over the year and to me, they are still fairly new. Well then, I am sure everyone has their favourite month(s) that they would like to share with me.  Want to know what’s mine? Find out after the cut! :D
