SNIPPETS: URABOKU STORY 48
Some of you have been waiting to see this particular chapter although I’m sure most might have already gotten wind of the chapter elsewhere in netiverse. Because we didn’t have a new chapter in the June issue, I decided to wait a bit before posting Story 48. I guess it will make the wait for the next chapter more bearable as we seemed to be getting one cliffhanger after the next.
This chapter continues with the fight between the two guardians and the demon guy in which Shusei and Toko appear to be loosing ground quickly. The demon guy is able to repel any sort of traps that the guardians are throwing at him. He’s ridiculously overpowered, me thinks. It made the guardians look ultra weak in comparison. Somehow, that’s the overall impression I seem to have gotten. They are somewhat useless without their partners. How are they supposed to protect Yuki like that? Hmmm, something to ponder on as the main plot progresses. The big bad guns have yet to make an appearance but I figure they’ll show up soon…especially that Cadenza bloke and Elegy, who is shown to be itching to start torturing the Zweilts with trouble.
On the other hand, the Giou clans are not lacking in getting more help in the coming battle with Reiga. Two new faces show up at the mansion. Who might they be and what are they specialized in? And ya, LoL @ Hotsu, his reaction is cute when he’s being bullied by the big bro, the new guy who he is apparently acquainted with. Anyway, what will happen to Shusei? Will he be found or will he be at the mercy of the demon guy? At least, he is a true gentleman in that he wanted Toko to be safe by literally removing her from the fight ..uhm…pushing her off the cliff. Very noble, no?

Thanks for the UraBoku! According to the last page, the next chapter will be in the July issue, which goes on sale May 24. I sure hope they stick with that schedule.
