Sakamichi no Apollon 07 – Aww, they made up by making sweet music together
Well, aren’t I back with a chatter of Sakamichi‘s episode 7 or what? I watched it 3 times cos I really enjoy the whole atmosphere and emotional coaster that this episode generates. It’s the best single episode of anime I’ve seen since a Natsume episode back in 2009 (Season 2 to be precise). Tsuritama‘s episode 7 came a very close 2nd. Let me say it again, Noitamina is back and I hope they’ll maintain this momentum entering into “Summer”. No doubt the high notes that these two shows have hit are going to be difficult to beat.
Sakamichi no Apollon 05 and 06 – Cue the jealousy and bratty tantrums over losing a BFF
Hah! Where have I been eh? I miss talking about Sakamichi no Apollon the anime this past week because I got caught up reading volume 9 of the manga, watching other anime like Tsuritama, Jormungand, Space Brothers, KuroBas and Hyouka. Yup basically catching up. Updated my MAL list and then some.
I reckon it’s only natural that some peeps from the anime fandom poke me for the burning triangular or polygon relationship resolutions now that I’ve read Vol.9 of “Sakamichi”. Shall I spoil a little bit? Nah, not really. The one thing I’m going to stress is what Junichi’s college mate said to Kaoru in Ep 05: “Unlike Lovers, Friendship is for life“. And emm, a passage of time is involved. See, that is actually a teeny clue for the curious bunch poking me. How it gets to that point…let’s enjoy the anime together and find out.

+C: Sword and Cornett Vol.7 – Cover plus Inserts
This is strictly for (existing and new) fans of Yugyoji Tama’s +C: Sword and Cornett which is receiving very little love from the manga fandom, it seems. It is probably due to the lack of attention in terms of translations more than anything else. I’m not sure what happen to this group who is suppose to be working on spreading the love through their English translations. Apparently, everything’s on hold there for the time being. So, I’m wondering if anyone else is going to quietly pick it back up so we can continue spreading the love of this manga far and wide as it appears the small fandom community is almost deader than dead.
In any case, I think it is fair for me to continue plugging Cornett’s volume releases here on tBPII along side TZA where my team mates are mainly doing the omake translations of the manga. So without further ado, let’s move on to Volume 7 which is Cornett’s latest release to date.
KuroBas – Why so funny, eh?
Ahem! Happy Mother’s Day to Momsies everywhere including yours! ^_^
What’s that got to do with Kuroko’s Basketball? Nothing really.
I feel the need to just say a greeting and mothers are special people after all. We won’t be here without our mothers now, won’t we?!
But yeah, let’s babble on about Kuroko’s Basketball. This is so random because I just wanted to chatter about KuroBas. See, I put this little montage of images together as a fangirl appreciation. (*^^*)
I‘m really enjoying both the anime adaptation and manga. I dunno about other viewers but I think the anime is hilarious. I thought the mangaka’s humour (or jokes, if you like) translated really well into the anime. I can’t help but chuckle while watching an episode or maybe I’m just shallow and easy to please. Because…
the future is all we have left

Someday, look back
on a, young day
we shared, we learned
we had, we lost
Because you know
tomorrow had another plan
because we lose
the future is all we have left
One pain, one hope
too far, so close
we laugh, we cry
we live, we grow
Because…
because we know the future is all we have left
One day, somewhere
hold on, somewhere
we stand, we leap
we fall, we go
Because you know
tomorrow plays another hand
because we lose
the future is all we have left
We have someday
surely someday
surely someday

Sakamichi no Apollon 04 – Why is Jun such a scene stealer?
Because he can sing and he has charmed an Ojousama’s heart with his smooth, sexy voice and smouldering bedroom eyes….Kyaaaa. Ba-dump! Yurika appears to be smitten. Uh-oh, what’s going to happen to Sentaro if Yurika is going after Jun? Wah…bet there’s going to be more than just a few light fuses blowing up. I smell a thunderstorm brewing (please don’t ask me if one can smell a storm but if you want an answer on whether that’s possible, it’s yes ROFL). A ship is going to go down, fast!!!
A fateful meeting? Yes, you may grin like a cheshire cat if you’d figured out this was going to happen! If they are animating this part, there’s high chance we’ll get to see Jun-nii’s arc animated. Oh more Jun is more love, no?! Oui, oui. In any case, we’ll just have to wait if the feelings here are mutual, ne.

ASUKA Issue 05/12 and Uraboku Story 48 Snippets
Q: Who do we have on May’s cover of Asuka?
A: Shurei and her harem from Saiunkoku Monogatari

It’s May already and isn’t it appropriate to share snippets from the May Issue of ASUKA. It’s later than expected and I do have the current June Issue in hand as well although I won’t post teasers from that copy yet. With that said, there’s no new Uraboku chapter in the June issue. That means the Uraboku fandom will have to wait longer for the next chapter. It is one of the reason why I forgo a quick Uraboku spoiler post earlier on. I’m not even sure if there’s a new chapter in the coming July issue. Anyway, those of you looking forward to Story 48 shall be pleased because I’m posting the chapter teasers right here.
