Happy Christmas Everyone!

A Little Yuletide Greeting from Ayu and The Brownie Post!

I would like to wish the regular readers, visitors and random passers-by to my blog a very ‘Merry and Happy Christmas 2010‘.

As I’ve tweeted recently, I’m rather busy these days, more so as the year end approaches. That’s not to say I won’t be getting a little respite from the hectic schedule. My short holiday break begins tomorrow, that’s on the eve of Christmas. I shall be enjoying an evening of merry making with family and very close friends, followed by a midnight Mass attendance at a local Church. Thereafter, I hope to immerse my mind and body in blissful sleep. I can assure you that sleep time is something that is much needed and treasured nowadays especially if you’re in my world. (^_^;;  I do look forward to getting some semblance of normalcy back on ‘The Brownie Post II’. So much to share but so little time. In spite of that, thank you all for being such lovely peeps. Here’s wishing you too enjoy peaceful moments with your families and friends in this holiday season. ♥♥♥

We wish you a ‘Kuro’ Christmas, we wish you a ‘Kuro’ Christmas …lala

Asuka 2011 Special Calendar

Bonus Feature!

Photobucket
Like I said in my previous Asuka post not too long ago, I’ll post the Special Calendar that came with the Jan 2011 issue separately. Well, lo and behold, here it is. The calendar is in A4-size booklet form so you see all the folds between the pages. I don’t have the frekking time to clean them and make them nice ‘n’ all. It is just fortunate that I managed to scan them amidst chaotic RL activities. All of the images were covers that had appeared in ASUKA throughout 2010. So, you would have seen them before if you’re a regular reader of the manga mag or fan of any of the manga titles featured in the Calendar. Right then, who can tell me which manga are the images from and which one is your favourite cover? Should be bleepin’ easy right?

Let’s move along to the Calendar proper… Enjoy!

Two things excite me from this issue of ASUKA; the return of ‘Trinity Blood ~rubor‘ and new manga adaptation of ‘Tale of Genji‘ aka ‘Genji Monogatari‘. Miyagi Tooko’s art for Genji is gorgeous. I look forward to seeing more of the adaptation in the coming issues. Continue reading

Zero-Sum Issue 01/2011: 07-Ghost Kapitel 64

07-Ghost Chapter 64 Preview, Snippets & More…

Photobucket
Alright, the chapter’s out and I’d managed to make do with some chapter snippets/preview to satisfy the 07G fandom’s curiosity. Kapitel 64 picks up where we’re last left off with the race and continues with it. As both Frau and Teito course closer towards the finishing line and 1st District, something happened to Teito. Cue flashback to his childhood where he recalls memories of his last moments with his father and eventual escape with Fia kreuz from the brutal Barsburg military attack on the Raggs Kingdom. The race part is amusing though, with every other teams using dirty tricks to try and overtake Frau & Teito who are leading the race of course. Oh, see if you can spot Lab and Castor in one of the panels. :D

Volume Covers – Pandora Hearts Vol.13

Pandora Hearts Volume 13 is here. If you don’t already know, the volume was released on Nov-27 and it contained chapters 50 to 53. Lily Baskerville took the spotlight on the jacket cover this time. I’m not exactly a Lily fan myself and would have prefer Elliot or Reo on the cover since they both had so much panel time in the current arc. But to make up for that, the omake is hilarious…I mean, I can’t imagine Jack looking that ghey…*rofl* Heck, Yura still creeps me out for being a Jack fanboy. Yonks!
