Oh Blimey! CLAUDE’s evilness reigns supremely high this time!
Ayu’s Episode Reactions:
Wow, Sebastian has been totally outwitted and badly trounced in the ‘soul’ game by Claude whose deliciously vile evilness bores down to the depths of hell. Sebby not only lost bocchan but was banished by him as well, all in the span of a day or an episode. Talk about being completely screwed around by Claude who seems to be spinning his web of lies all over the place. I am not pleased with bocchan being mind-raped and tortured either. Guess he’ll never be the same again even if he ever got his memories restored.
From what I can surmised, it was Claude who has a contract with Luka and he was the one who actually set fire to the village that eventually killed everybody, including taking Luka’s soul. How clever of him to spin everything around in bocchan’s head and make him pin the blame on Sebastian instead. Claude’s greed is apparent when he desires to devour both Alois and bocchan’s souls, sort of like a 2-in-1 mix he’s creating. He never has any intention of abiding by the demon’s contract in the first place. Surely, Sebby should have known this but he’s too prim and proper to notice until the carpet has been pulled out from under his feet. So now what? He lost his dinner special which he had taken such a painstakingly long time to season and he is jobless. What of the contract seal that bocchan has? Is it worthless?
Speaking of a turnaround, I despised Hannah now. xD Yup, she’s morphed into a freaking *B@#%h*, irredeemable in my eyes. She ends up being just a Claude puppet after all. I would have thought that there is something deeper than that but nah. What a pity. Unless of course, the anime creators can prove me wrong. I highly doubt that will happen seeing as there’s only 4 episodes left after this one. As random as it might seemed, I squee a little at the appearance of WILL(iam T.Spears) and Ronald Knox, the new shinigami who wields the ‘Lawnmower’ of death. xD They made me “LOL” so much, especially Will losing his glasses. Ahahaha, so hilarious! And ya Ronald, lame catch phrase greeting is lame. Guess we all know who taught him that. *Minus Points* to Grell. Ah dear, Sebby got the end of the stick again. And whose fault is it? That red-haired shinigami better not fall for Claude’s devious charm.
All in all, this episode’s awesomeness and excitement level matched the 1st one equally. Claude succeeded in pissing Sebastian big time and I want Sebby to level up to go totally demon mode and kick some asses, particularly that *B@#%h* massive behind. And then of course, I would love to see Claude get himself choked and entangled by his own web. Go get your bocchan back and let him not be sullied any further, Sebby. I’m rooting for you even if it means death is in the cards. @_@ xDDD (^w^) Meooowww
On a side note, I love how YuYa’s ED theme ‘Bird’ resonate with so much more sadness after seeing this episode. It fitted in so well with the heavy mood of the episode. I’ve listening to it quite a fair bit after receiving my copy of the CD, yes the one with the anime illustration, two days ago. Ono D’s character single for KSII is winsome as well. Will chat a bit more about it after the screenies. Yay!

Haha, I practically laughed all of your comments in this post. AND…
NOOOOO!!!! WTFudge?! I seriously am denying the ClaudexCiel part! But it’s amazing how Hannah is still alive from the last episode… Bet she’ll be free from torture? Who knows… (hinted from her smiling face) I bet there’ll be a Meirin v.s. Hannah scene since they’re expert in guns.
Sebastian’s Demon Mode looks hot… Hope we get to see more of it in this 2nd series… I’m practically praying to see if Alois could come back and pay back at Claude. If that’s possible…

It’s a pity Sebastain got outwitted by lame Claude. Honestly, except for Sakurai Takahiro, there’s nothing really good about Clause… He’s kinda… lame. Well, just my opinion, everyone’s free to like him^^
But I sooo loved the last seconds of Sebastian getting angry when alone. It made me have goosebumps. I soooo wanna see angry and scary Sebastian :3
Oh btw, on a random note, wanted to ask. One girl I know is going to Japan and besides ZeroSum (yeah, I didn’t subscribe T_T, but maybe later, once I get a job) I asked her to bring me some other manga magazine. Which one has freebies? I’ve heard that Lala always has freebies like a keychain or something… Are there any other magazines that have them too? I’m not a big fan of Lala really.

As regards to the manga mags, ZeroSum carries many fab titles. They do have free stuff once in a while but not that often. They usually tie it to volume promos or series that gets an anime. Same goes for LaLa and AsuKa. LaLa gives away the most freebies of any manga mags. Second after that is Asuka which mostly include furokus of special Drama CD, pocket folder, bookmarks, postcard, pencil board or some such thing. It depends on what promo they’re doing for a particular issue. Most of it is related to anime tie-ins and volume release of popular titles. Gfan has special bookcovers for volume release of their popular manga serializations like Pandora Hearts, Kuroshitsuji, Higurashi, Durarara etc. These are sort of collector items. Again, it really depends on what they series are promoting at a given period of time. Hope that helps. xD
