Kiniro no Corda ~secondo passo~ Image Album - Tears

Special La Corda Music Post!

This special treat is especially for the La Corda D’oro fandom!


So why is this a special post again? Because it’s the first time I feature a music post relating to La Corda D’oro (Kiniro no Corda). I don’t normally listen to La Corda’s vocal CD Singles as I’m not as into them as most Corda fans are. I prefer listening to the instrumental renditions of the classical pieces from the anime and game rather than their pop vocal releases. I’m aware they have been several pop vocal/character singles releases before this.

Well, there’s a first time for everything and so Ayu’s please to share with the Corda fans a recently released pop vocal Image Album called ‘Tears‘ from Kiniro no Corda ~secondo passo~. The CD was out on Aug-12 but yeah I only got hold of it. The album features various Voice Artists from the anime performing their character songs. Among them are Kisyou Taniyama, Morita Masakazu, Jun Fukuyama, Daisuke Kishio, Ito Kentaro and Miyano Mamoru. There are also 4 spoken drama bits included on Tears. Fans might enjoy those too if they can’t get enough of hearing their favourite Corda characters speaking…lol.

Apart from the character songs and the special drama tracks, two bgm pieces from ~secondo passo~ were also featured on the album. I thought ‘Music of Clock‘ sound like Christmas music…perhaps I should play this piece come this Christmas (lol). But it’s the piano and cello piece ‘Sonata‘ that sounds especially refined. I love this short elegant piece. Wish they were more such pieces being featured.
