A preview of FictionJunction’s OP single release ‘Parallel Hearts’

FictionJunction‘s single features the intro theme song for TV anime ‘Pandora Hearts’. It also includes a b-side filler song called ‘Hitomi no Chikara’ along with instrumental versions of both tracks. I had like the TV-sized version of Parallel Hearts and had anticipated to hear the full song. Very pleased that it turns out to be even better. Now I can safely say it’s one of my favourite OP songs from Spring. I love the violin bits in the song and the group’s vocals. Though not as epic and grand as KOKIA’s Karma, the song generates just the right sort of moody vibe as the intro for Pandora Hearts. I like track 2 as well. ‘Hitomi no Chikara‘ is quite a pleasant piano driven ballad. I adore Yuuka’s voice. It’s just full of emotion and feeling. A beautiful number indeed. A worthy single to go into my anime music collection.

It is a good song, it does sound better at full length, and I like the violin parts, but I would still give my preference to Karma.
