Toradora Double Singles Releases: ‘Silky Heart’ and ‘Orange’.
Toradora OP2 Single: Horie Yui’s Silky Heart
‘Silky Heart’ is actually the second opening theme for Toradora sung by another singing V.A, Horie Yui. It’s a cutesy type of melody and song delivered in a similar cutesy style that’s very fitting for the anime. I also preferred this new opening song to the the first one. The 2nd song is quite similar to the title track whereas the 3rd track is a slower number, both delivered pretty much in the same cutesy vocal style. All in all, an averagely good OP single but not something that I’ll listen to if it were not for the anime.

Toradora ED2 Single: Orange (V.As)
To be honest, after listening to the new outro theme ‘Orange’, I still rather like Toradora’s first ED ‘Vanilla Salt’. It is just stupendously catchy to forget and ‘Orange’ couldn’t live up to its predecessor’s addictiveness. Maybe over time, I’ll change my mind but for now ‘Vanilla Salt’ still rules.
