Eeeps, a leak! So I got an advance preview of UVERworld’s latest single whilst waiting for the arrival of the limited edition original from cdjapan. What can I say except to say that I love this single and all the 3 tracks on it especially Gundam 00 Season 2 Intro/OP theme and track #2 ‘体温 Taion’ which is a nice ballad. I love Takuya’s pining vocals on it. Want a listen, click the preview links on the tracklist. Right, I’m out.

Clannad~After Story~ OP/ED Single: Toki wo Kizamu Uta & Torch

Ever since I saw Clannad~After Story’s opening sequence, I simply loved the beautiful visuals along with the intro song. They combined to make the whole opening scene appears and sounds magical. It’s clearly one of loveliest anime opening visuals from the Fall season. The studio finally got round to releasing the OP/ED single which I’ve been anticipating since Clannad AS has been on air. OP/ED Singles: Pigstar’s Shodo and Kanon Wakeshima’s Suna no Oshiro

Kanon Wakeshima’s 2nd single ‘Suna no Oshiro’ is out now. The title track is also the outro theme for Vampire Knight Guilty. Suna no Oshiro is quite similar to Still Doll in terms of having a creepy atmospheric build up at the beginning of the song which then breaks out into the dramatic chorus. I like the cello playing on the track as well. Continue reading
Naruto Shippuden ED7 Cd Single + Bleach OST 3 Album

This is one of the better ED/outro themes among the bunch of OP/ED singles that came out recently. HalCali’s Long Kiss Goodbye is a rather catchy song that’s pop-rock infused with a bit of rap and a snappy melody. It’s also Naruto Shippuden’s 7th ED. The B-side song ‘Flash’ is a rap infused electro track which sounds a little bit like a song from Perfume especially the chorus part. But instead of sounding cheesy, it’s got an edgier feel. Check the tracklist for a preview of the song. Continue reading
Vampire Knight Guilty Episode 06
Episode 6: The Fake Lover 偽りの恋人

Impressions:
I just got round to watching episode 6. The pace slowed down this time because I was expecting that they’ll squeeze in the Rido/Shiki and Kaname meeting scene but they didn’t. In a way, it was good because the anime has so far been moving a lot faster and we’re near the half way point already. Continue reading
CD Singles Recent Releases: BreakerZ, Chemistry, Spitz, Suneohair, Miho Fukuhara

Wo! It's Christmas already.
Been catching up with a slew of singles releases recently. Here are 5 singles that I received only just recently. They are: BreakerZ’s Winter Party, Chemistry’s Koisuru Yuki Aisuru Sora, Spitz’s Wakaba, Suneohair’s Kyohansha and Miho Fukuhara’s Yasashii Aka. I particularly liked Spitz’s and Suneohair’s latest releases over Chemistry’s holiday-ish RnB pop ballads though. BreakerZ’s holiday single was rather catchy but corny at the same time. Continue reading

Episode 6: His Butler, At the Funeral その執事、葬送

おやすみ Madam RED!!!
This episode marks the end of the ‘Madam Red/Jack the Ripper’ arc and it began with a recap of what’s been happening in the last two episodes. Then we have the continuation of the battle between Grell, the death God and Sebastian, our lovely demonic Butler. Continue reading
D. Gray-man Chapter 177: Lonely Boy

This is a rather good and exciting chapter. A lot is happening away from the main fight between the three exorcists and the Level 4 akuma. In the previous chapter, Link along with Timothy, the Director Nun and Emily tried to usher the kids to safety down in the basement. But something happens when they’re all down there and we see why in this chapter. Continue reading

New Album: Asian Kung-fu Generation – Surf Bungaku Kamakura
Album Title: Surf Bungaku Kamakura
Artist: Asian Kung-fu Generation
Date Released: 5-Nov-2008

Wow! I am a little stump to write something cohesive about AKFG’s new album. Although, I think that it’s more to do with my brain freezing out due to lack of sleep. But what a fab catchy rocking good album this turns out to be. Continue reading
